ThreePassions

Russell has written the famous essay named the same title.I suppose there always exists something dwelling in ordinary people, as well, constructing one’s life. Money, power, fame, and gain, or, the so-called great things: knowledge, science, art, ect. , things are varied while particular for the individual. As for me, I have a quick and determined answer: the earnest attachment to my relatives and friends, the worship for nature, and love for art and literature.

It’s my kinfolks’ deep-felt love and care that grow me up, healthy and happy. There’s always a place called “home” in the world, which shelters me from the storm outside, as long as they are there with me. It’s my affectionate appreciation and love to them that encourage me to go further and further. Whenever I turn back, finding the figures standing there, far away, I feel very comfortable and warm, never cold or worried.

With the equal passion I have been loving the natural world. The God’s works is so glorious, with the marvelous scenery of mountains, rivers, animals… everything around, including the mystery night-sky over head. All of these bring humankind huge treasure and comfort. The comfort, for instance of me, is sunshine, which I always cannot deny. However depressed, the lonely walking girl, showering the

sunlight tend to think: hope is there. The colorless light from the far remote planet is a different kind of battery for me.

The first two seem a little vague under my awkward pen. Let’s talk about the last tangible one. I have been fond of art and literature works. One can live many different lives through embracing them. The brilliant poetry, novels, music and paintings and so on. And I have only known a very little about them now, which has already bring me great comfort and pleasure. Very pity, because time is flying and maybe there’s no chance at all, to say hello to some of them.

This has been my young thoughts about the item, pushing the boat of life travel forward, like three gentle hands.
