书面表达经典朗读素材

My Favorite Activities-我喜爱的活动

I like a variety of activities, from active and wild ones like camping, sports and parties to quiet ones like reading and watching TV. I like to be outdoors, to participate in sports and to do daring things.

For example, several friends and I once took a trip down a wild river in a raft. We spent a week navigating dangerous currents, camping at night, fixing our own meals and having much fun. I am a member of our college football team. I also like to do risky things such as skiing, motorcycling and mountain climbing, but I don't do them often and am very careful. I also like to be with my friends. I usually get invited to at least one party a week. If I don't, then I arrange one myself, even it is very informal Whenever I have a chance, I either eat out or go dancing with my friends. In contrast, there are also many quiet private things that I enjoy doing.

I have spent whole days reading a book, and I occasionally stay up late at night with a good novel. Sometimes, too, I like to spend a relaxed evening watching light TV programs, or talking with friends about serious matters over a glass of wine. In other words, I like to do different things, depending on the mood I am in and the kind of people I am around.

In order to ..., research has been done on ...Research has been done in order to see / find out ...在表达自己的观点时,可以使用:in my opinion, I’m sure ..., I believe ..., I think ...在总结观点的时候,可使用:in a word, to sum up 初稿:

In China, many students don’t like reading classic literature works. A research with 40 students in our school shows that not one of them reads a work of classic literature each day. Five of the 40 students read them usually, 15 of them read them occasionally, and 20 of them never read them. In my opinion, reading classic literature works is good for students. Firstly, reading classic literature works can improve our language skills, including reading and writing skills. Secondly, reading classic literature works can also enrich our knowledge. When I was young, my mom asked me to read classic literature works. I found them interesting and enjoyed reading them. When talking with foreigners, I can help them understand the culture of China by telling them about classic literature works. So, I think that as students, we should read more works of classic literature.

Research has been done on Chinese middle school students’ attitudes towards classic works of literature. It indicates that Chinese students are not interested in reading classic works of literature. Among the 40 students interviewed, as many as 20 said they have never read any classic work of literature while only 5 said they read them often. None of these students read classic works of literature every day and the number of students who read occasionally is 15. This fact is sad. Classic works of literature are the legacy given by our ancestors. Many classic works of literature look at the common human themes, which are universal no matter how time changes. For example, many morals of Aesop’s Fablesare still true
