good evening 0:31

one year ago I introduced my father when he declared his candidacy in his own way 0:44

and through his own sheer force of will 0:47

he sacrificed greatly to enter the political arena as an outsider and he 0:52

prevailed against a field of 16 very talented competitors 1:02

for more than a year Donald Trump has been the people's champion and tonight 1:08

he is the people's nominee 1:18

like many of my fellow Millennials i do not consider myself categorically 1:24

Republican or Democrat more than party affiliation I vote based on what i 1:30

believe is right for my family and for my country 1:33

sometimes it's a tough choice that is not the case this time as the proud 1:39

daughter of your nominee 1:41

i am here to tell you that this is the moment and Donald Trump is the person to 1:47

buildings with Legos and erector sets while he did the same with concrete 3:32

steel and glass 3:34

my father taught my siblings and me the importance of positive values and a 3:39

strong ethical compass 3:41

he showed us how to be resilient how to deal with challenges and how to strive 3:46

for excellence in all that we do 3:48

he taught us that there is nothing we cannot accomplish if we marry vision and 3:54

passion with an enduring work ethic 4:03

one of my father's greatest talents is his ability to see potential

in people 4:07

before they see it in themselves 4:09

it was like that for us to growing up he told us that potential vanishes into 4:15

nothing without effort and that like him 4:18

we each had a responsibility to work not just for ourselves but for the 4:22

betterment of the world around us 4:28

over the years on too many occasions to count 4:32

I saw my father tear stories out of the newspaper about people whom he had never 4:37

met who are facing some injustice or hardship he'd write a note to his 4:42

assistant in a signature black felt-tip pen and request that the person be found 4:47

and invited to trump tower to meet with him he would talk to them and then draw 4:52

upon his extensive network to find them a job or get them a break and they would 4:58

leave his office as people so often do after having been with Donald Trump 5:02
