PEP1 Uint3 Part A Letters and sounds

hand, hi, ice, ice cream

3. Be able to listen and speak chant, and finish the exercise on P26: Listen and

circle

Important points:

T: Hello, everybody! Ss: Hello, Miss Chen. T: Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you, too. T: How are you? Ss: I’m fine, thank you! 2. Sing a song---ABC song 3. Review the letters

Aa Bb Cc Dd Step 2: Presentation 1. Teach Ee egg elephant

(1).Use magnets to put out E to present Ee

Read: Ee (one by one) write Ee (1.show me your finger, and write with the

screen; 2. follow me again; 3. write by your yourself three times) Give S an egg as present who write the best (2). Present egg with PPT

It’s an egg. Read after me: e-e-egg, e-e-egg, egg-egg-egg (clap hands) (3). Present elephant

I like egg, and one animal also likes egg. Do you know what? Haha, it’s an elephant.

Read after me: e-e- elephant, e-e- elephant, elephant - elephant - elephant (clap hands)

2. Teach Ff face foot

(1). Change E to F on the blackboard to present Ff Use the same way to learn Ff (read and write)

Give S a small rabbit as present who writes the best

(2). Present rabbit on the screen

This is rabbit’s eye. This is ear/nose/mouth. Look, this is face. Read after me: f-f-face, f-f-face, face-face-face (clap face)

Look, this is rabbit’s foot. Read after me: f-f-foot, f-f-foot, foot-foot-foot (stamp foot) 3. Teach Gg green gift

(1). T takes out a green gift. Teach word gift. Read after me: g-g-gift, g-g-gift, gift-gift-gift (clap hands)

T: What colour is the gift? It’s green. Read after me: g-g-green g-g-green, green-green-green (clap hands)

(2). Teach Gg

Look at these two words. The first letter is g. Use the same way to learn Gg (read and write)

(1). T: Look, this is a green gift. Do you want to know what’s in the box?

Ss: Yes.

T: OK, now let’s open it and see.

Open the gift, and take out the toy hand. Look, this is the hand. Read after me: h-h-hand, h-h-hand, hand-hand-hand (wave hands)
