语法强化与扩展：

指示代词：this,that,these,those

1. this和these指说话人较近的人或物，that和those指说话人较远的人或物．

this和that指单数，be动词用单数形式is，同时后面的名词用单数形式。

these和those表示复数，be动词用复数形式are，同时后面的名词用复数形式。

2. 在回答主语this或that的一般疑问句或特殊疑问句时，在答语中用it代替句中this或that;

What is this/that?这是/那是什么？It’s a/an...它是...；

Is this/that...?这是/那是...吗？Yes,it is.是的，它是。No,it isn’t.不，它不是。

3. 在回答主语these或those的一般疑问句或特殊疑问句时，在答语中用they代替句中these或those;

What are these/those?它们是什么？They are...它们是...;

Are these/those...?这些/那些是.吗？Yes,they are.是的，它们是。No,they aren’t.不，它们不是。 4. 在介绍某人时，用this或that，而不用he或she；例如This is my mum. 5. 打电话时，说自己是谁用This is...，问别人是谁用Who’s that?
