(2017·四川内江)B Dear Dr. Know,
My brother is going to be 11 and I am 14. My brother and I always get into fights. Whenever he does something wrong like hitting me, messing my room or taking my toys, he never gets in trouble. But when I do this kind of things, I'm always grounded and it's not fair. I tried talking to my parents about this and all they said was that they would try harder. However since they said this it has never happened. I don't know what to do. I sometimes just try to get on the computer and there he goes. He starts saying he wants to use the computer even though we have 3 computers in the house. But all that my dad says is to get off only for 30 minutes. I keep telling him that he can use the computer downstairs but he complains( 抱怨) that he is too scared.
I've talked to my friends about this and they don't know what to say. I've tried talking to him and being nice to him but it didn't work. He just doesn't stop. He's making my life terrible! My dream is to have an understanding brother. What should I do for that?

I arrived at the 57 St. Subway Station in New York City at about 10 p. m. one evening on my way home. The platform (站台) is long and there weren't many people around. I could hear the weak sound of a violin. As I listened, it appeared to be coming from the other end of the station and it sounded like Mendelsohn's violin concerto(协奏曲) without the orchestra (乐队) . I took a walk along the platform until I reached where the sounds came front. There was a young man playing the concerto and playing very well too. A small crowd had been there to listen and had become so interested in the music that they were letting trains go without getting on them. More people came to listen as a few passengers got off each train. At the end of the piece there was a stormy cheer from the listeners and we all left some money for him. I wanted to hear more, so I asked him to play the Bruch concerto, which he did while I let several more trains go without me. I finally went home, feeling the pleasure of such music.

The health risks of smoking are well known, but kids and teens continue to smoke. Many young people pick up the habit every year-in fact, 90% of all adult smokers started when they were kids.
You might wonder why people smoke at all. Many people start smoking when they are kids or teens and they try it for many reasons. Maybe all of their friends were doing it or they grew up in a house where all the adults smoked. On the other hand, kids started smoking in order to look cool, act older, lose weight, or feel independent.
But no matter why they started, many smokers ( men, women, boys or girls) wish they could stop. Stopping smoking is hard, though, because there is nicotine (尼古丁) in cigarettes (烟). Someone can get addicted to(沉溺于) nicotine within days of first using it. When something is addictive, your body and mind will tell you that you need it to feel OK. If you don't get it, you might feel sick, stressed out, or get angry.
Stopping smoking mostly has two steps. The first step is to deal with your dependence on nicotine and the other is to break the habit of smoking. When you stop smoking, you may have to wait a few days or even weeks before the nicotine finally leaves your body.
Most importantly, we must make sure kids and teens understand the dangers of smoking as early as possible.

Can you always find what you want to find on the Internet? These easy-to-remember ways will help you to become a safe and smart searcher!
Several keywords will help to find better results. Use more than one keyword when you are doing a search. If you want to find out about seagulls, for example, search for bird seagull and not just seagull because seagull might also be the name of just about anything else, from a hotel to a documentary film. Exact information can help you find what you are looking for. If you are looking for an exact sentence, e. g. “seagulls are very clever”, type (打字) it between inverted commas (“”), and only exact matches will be shown. This is very useful when you want to find something that you’ve already seen but lost.
Avoid common words like \Add a minus symbol (—) if you don't want some of the results. For example, \-hotel-film\will leave out all information of hotels and films in the result.
Check out your spelling. Make sure that you spell every word in the search box correctly. The smallest typing mistakes can bring unwanted results, especially when the mis-typed word appears.
Have a filter(过滤软件). It's a good idea to filter your online searches, especially when you are searching pictures. Ask an adult to help you add a filter. There are many kinds of them available.
Try different search engines( 搜索引擎) until you find the one that's best for you. Some search engines personalize(个性化) the results. So if you want to get different results, you'd better check out the search engines which don't do this.
62. Why can’t we use one keyword to look for something on the Internet? A. It can guide us to find wrong information. B. It can make the computer work more slowly. C. It can mean nothing but itself on the Internet.
D. It can make us waste much time finding the exact information.
63. If we want to find back Pandas live in China , we'd better type _________. A. Pandas-live-in-China B. The pandas live in China C. “Pandas live in China\ D. Pandas live in China 64. How can we find the right pictures on the Internet faster?
