My first stay at home alone was very memorable. One day when I was twelve, both my mother and father were away on the business and I had to be all by myself for two days. My parents left early the first day, but I got up soon after they left. The first evening I was a little scare, so I turned on all the light. I actually keep the light on in my bedroom the whole night, that finally put me at ease. For fear of get up late the next morning, I put three alarm clocks near my bed and set the alarm respectively at 6: 00, 6:10 and 6: 15. In order to prove that I could take good care of me, I washed my own clothes the next day, though I could wait Mum to do it. I really felt proudly of myself and thought I had grown up.

Yesterday, we held a class meeting on the topic of “My Dream”. Encouraging by our English teacher, we talked about our understanding of dreams. Opinions on this matter differ from person to person. Otherwise, we all believed that our dreams would come true one day.
As for me, my dream is to be a lawyer in the future, because lawyers are doing a meaning job. They can help people whoever are in need to solve a great many of problems with their professional knowledge, which is of great value to our society. To realize our dream, I will work as hard as I can from then on. I will try my best to get admitting into a good university where I can get a good knowledge of law and gain enough skills to become a lawyer. It is only in this way where I can accomplish my dream.

It was warm and sunny, so we decide to go for a swim. When I reached to the beach, my friends were already there. The sea was perfect, appearing as smoothly as a mirror. When I came to England, I know little English. As you can probably guess it, my life was difficulty for atime. Simple tasks like ordering food or take a taxi were quite stressful. I signed up for classes and studied on myown as well, so I made poor progress. I became very discouraging. Finally, I found best way to learn English wasto make friends with native speakers and spend time with them. I appreciated playing in a band with an Englishwoman which became one of my best friend in London. My English improved great by hanging out with her.

In September, I went on a training course improve my level of English. Our teacher was Andrew, the native English speaker fromAmerica. He was a very nice person and learning about English with him were not boring. Her classes were real fun, always begin with beautiful English songs . And the song mostly contained a lot of useful vocabulary, phrases and expressions. During the course, I also learned how to prepare a theater play, that was very interested. For me it was an unforgettable experience, so I spent a wonderful time doing it and I learned a lot.

Reading is good for babies in developing their intelligence and interest. Mom would read to me if I was a baby, that developed my love for reading. As I grew elder and could read by myself, my father often takes me to book-stores and left me there reading.
On my birthdays, the gifts sending by my parents are always books. It is them who let me know benefits of reading.
