Preparation 准备 1. Revision “复习检查” (1) Revise 2b: Get the students to answer the following questions: (1) Who is Sarah? (2)Did she det along well with her family ? (3)What is Sarah’s dream ? (4) What is the importance of modern life in the US ? (5)What is country in US ? (6) What are many songs about these days ? (7) What are the best things in life according to this paragraph ? (8) Where does Sarah dream to go ? (9) Who is one of most successful musicians in American history ? (10) How many records has he sold ? (2)Dictate some important words and expressions. 2. 自由交谈: Talk about good books . (1) T: Have you read The Old Man and The Sea? S: Yes , I have . / No, I haven’t . T: What’s it like ?
