Major Sporting Events in London Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 3 February 2019

Pit bulls’ (斗牛犬) strength made them a popular choice for illegaldog fighting, so （非法的）a lot of them had been improperly(不恰当地) raised and controlled, which made the public realize that they were violent and dangerous. One pit bull puppy (小狗) named Sasha proved that these dogs were not all bad.

Nana Chaichanhda, the owner of the 8-month-old dog, was sleeping in her Stockton, California home when she heard a crazy bark at around 11 pm. The owner went to look into why the dog, who was in the yard, was making so much noise. At first she figured the dog wanted to come indoors, so she went and opened the door. Sasha started barking at Nana like crazy and ran to the back of the home, where the children were sleeping. Chaichanhda couldn’t understand what was making her normally quiet and well-behaved dog so upset. She wondered if it could have been another animal, or something worse.

It turned out to be worse. As the 30-year-old mother opened another door, she was shocked to see black smoke rising. She realized that the department complex that housed four families, was on fire. The flames were quickly spreading from the neighbor’s unit to Chaichanhda’s unit. In a panic, the mother ran back to get the children. She found Sasha was way ahead of her. Instead of heading for safety herself, the pup was trying to pull 7-month-old Masailah off the bed by the diaper (尿布). Finally, the family exited the building and was able to wake up the neighbors to get them to safety. Shortly after, firefighters came and put out the flames.

According to the mom, the baby and the puppy were born only a few days apart. As Sasha always lay together with Masailah, they shared a close bond. Clearly the bond went deeper （纽带）than she thought.
