A Spanish company has opened the first public napping(打盹)space in Madrid. Siesta & Go promises Spaniards a quiet and restful getaway in the middle of the city's business center. Napping spaces are already nothing new places in other big cities in the world. But the idea would appear to work well with the culture of Spain, where people traditionally take a midday nap.

The Madrid nap bar recently opened with 19 beds. They can be rented by the minute or by the hour. People can choose either a private or shared room. An hour of napping time inside a private room costs about $15. The company also offers areas to work, as well as armchairs, newspapers and coffee for those not wishing to sleep. Philip Marco is one happy customer. Marcos says he gets tired during the day because he has a long drive to work. He says a siesta is the perfect way to build up energy. “I come for about 30 minutes, something like that. Sleep 30 minutes and that usually is enough for me to be able to get through the evening.”
Siesta & Go provides all bedding, clean nightshirts and other materials. Nappers can request to be woken up when their time is up. While many Spaniards love their midday naps, others like Carlos Villarroja say they are just too busy to keep this tradition. “It's a Spanish tradition, but I think it's more of a legend than a tradition. Because with the lifestyle we have, the working hours, the rhythm of life that all Spanish workers have, you have very little free time for a siesta, in my case, at least during the week.” But many health experts believe there is evidence that taking a short nap can be very good for the body and mind. Scientific studies show that taking a nap can also prevent heart disease, lower blood pressure and reduce stress.

Volterman has recently unveiled a smart wallet that takes security to the extreme, which attracts people most. It comes with a built-in alarm system, a GPS tracker(追踪器), and even a front facing camera that takes photos of whoever tries to open it, and sends them to the owner. Wallets almost seem obsolete in this high-tech age, but the Volterman Smart Wallet is not your average wallet. Besides the screen, it packs about as much technology as your smart phone, including a built-in camera, power bank, GPS tracker, alarm system, and RFID protection. It may look like a simple wallet outside, but it’s different inside. One of the main features is the distance-sensitive alarm system. Once you’ve paired the card holder with your smart phone, every time the distance between phone and wallet goes over a certain limit, an alarm will notify you, so you don’t accidentally leave it behind. The cool thing about this system is that it works both ways. If you forget your phone somewhere, the wallet alarm goes off, letting you know that its best friend is missing. Then there’s the GPS tracker that allows you to locate(定位) the wallet anywhere in the world, an RFID protection system designed to prevent electronic pick-pocketing. Credit cards, some passports and driver licenses now come with radio frequency identification chips that thieves can clone, but the Volterman Smart Wallet prevents that. The high-tech accessory also comes with a built-in power bank which provides wireless charging on the go, Bluetooth 5.0 technology, and a built-in WiFi Hotspot, which provides Internet roaming(漫游) service in 98
