【课型】语法课 【学习目标】

1. 复习巩固on, in front of, behind, next to, across from, between, and等方位词的用法，熟练掌握Grammar Focus的全部句型。

2. 能使用方位介词指路或介绍周围的环境，能正确地运用问路和指路方面的句子。

3. 通过本课的学习，有效地锻炼自己的方位识别能力与逻辑表述能力。 学习过程 【自主学习】

一、熟练掌握社区地点名词和方位介词。

二、画一张具体的自家社区位置图或学校周围公共场所图。 【新课导入】 Step l: Review

借助自己居住周围或学校周围场所图片，练习问路、指路对话。 -Excuse me. Is there a bank near here? -Yes, there is. It’s on Center Street. -Where is the hotel? -It’s behind the police station. 【新知呈现】 Step 2: Presentation

1. 小组内分角色表演对话，其他成员听后纠正发音。 2. 师生活动。分别找出问路和指路的句子。 -Is there a bank around here? -Yes, there is. It’s... -Where is the Center Street? -It’s not far from here. 3. 填空练习。（巩固功能句）

4. 模仿秀。跟读录音，模仿语音、语调、语气和感情。

如：How can I help you?（热情地）That’s great.（兴奋地）No problem.（真诚地）

观察与思考1

观察对话2d，思考常用问路用语（提示：谈论某建筑物位置的语言，提供帮助、表达感谢的方式等）： 【新知学习】 Step 3: Grammar Focus 1. 自读Grammar Focus。

2. 观察Grammar Focus中的句型以及更多的含有there be结构的句子回答问题： (l)There be句型一般用来表示什么含义，以及句子的主语是什么？

（2）含有there be结构的句子，be动词一般什么时候用is，什么时候用are? 3. 小组内、组间讨论答案，发现规则。 Step 4: Practice

1. 观看3a图片，同伴之间根据3a公共场所的方位进行问答。 2. 观看3a图片，根据示范独自写出3个描述公共场所方位的句子。 3. 小组内用问答的形式交流检查。

在问路中我们经常使用Is there a…near here?以及Where’s the...？等句型。Is there a…near here? 句型的肯定回答是 ；否定回答是 ；该句型的复数形式为Are there any… near here?其肯定回答是 ；否定回答是 ；Where’s the…？句型的答语是 +方位词；其复数形式是Where are the...？答语是 +方位词。 跟踪训练

1. 老师朗读句子，描述某个场所各种建筑物的位置，小组成员边听边记录。 2. 小组成员核对所记录的内容，互相补充完整。然后共同合作绘制一幅地图。 3. 绘制完毕后，小组展示自己的地图，并用英语描述各种建筑物的位置。 4. 评选优秀小组。 【课堂练习】 一、单词拼写。
