◆为使语气委婉，通常将祈使句与please连用。如：Please cut me a piece of cake. ◆有时为了指明向谁提出请求或命令，可以加称呼语。如： Mike, listen to me! 【感叹句】感叹句通常由what，how引导，表示赞美、惊叹、喜悦等感情。 ◆How+形容词（或副词）+主语+谓语！如：
How lovely the baby is! 这个婴儿真可爱！ How fast he runs! 他跑得真快！ ◆What + （a／an）+形容词+名词+主语+谓语（+其他）!如： What a beautiful city it is!这是一个多么美丽的城市啊！

My father
My father is a doctor in a hospital. He is tall and thin.
He goes to work very early and comes back home very late. He always looks tired after work. I am a little afraid of my father because he seldom smiles at home.
One day, I went to my father’s hospital and saw him working. Strangely, he kept smiling to all the patients. He helped them patiently and carefully. I didn’t even see him rest for a while. I understood him at once.
How great my father is! I love my father.
