◆祈使句的否定式是在动词原形前加don't。例如: Don't be late. 不要迟到。

◆为使语气委婉,通常将祈使句与please连用。如:Please cut me a piece of cake. ◆有时为了指明向谁提出请求或命令,可以加称呼语。如: Mike, listen to me! 【感叹句】感叹句通常由what,how引导,表示赞美、惊叹、喜悦等感情。 ◆How+形容词(或副词)+主语+谓语!如:

How lovely the baby is! 这个婴儿真可爱! How fast he runs! 他跑得真快! ◆What + (a/an)+形容词+名词+主语+谓语(+其他)!如: What a beautiful city it is!这是一个多么美丽的城市啊!

My father

My father is a doctor in a hospital. He is tall and thin.

He goes to work very early and comes back home very late. He always looks tired after work. I am a little afraid of my father because he seldom smiles at home.

One day, I went to my father’s hospital and saw him working. Strangely, he kept smiling to all the patients. He helped them patiently and carefully. I didn’t even see him rest for a while. I understood him at once.

How great my father is! I love my father.
