Good evening. Hi! Hi, there! Hello! How are you doing? How are things? What’s up? Great! What about you? Not bad. How are you? Very well, thanks. How are you? 2. Sentence Pattern of how to make introductions How do you do? My name is… I don’t think we have met. May I introduce…? 4 periods Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Hello! How do you do? No, I don’t believe we have… I’d like you to meet… Do you know…? 3. Model Dialogues Listen to the recording and read the dialogues, then try to act them out. Part III Situations I. Work out appropriate greetings and introductions,using the information given. Example ( Mr. Wang & your brother, Peter) Good morning, Mr. Wang. Do you know my brother,Peter? 2. Work out appropriate replies, using the information given. Example Question: Hello, Mr. Li. How are you? Reply: Hello, I’m very well, thanks. 3. Make up dialogues, using the information given.
