Mine ventilation system is an important part of the mine production system. Therefore it is crucial that establishing a ventilation system that can not only meet required air volume during the daily production, guarantee the stability of the wind, the wind quality qualified, but also in disaster period maintain ventilation equipment reliable and stable and quickly achieve wind flow control. 矿井通风系统是矿井生产系统的重要组成部分,通风系统是否合理,对保证各用风地点的供风和安全生产,以及矿井基本建设和降低通风费用起着决定性作用。因此建立一个既能满足日常生产所需风量、保证风向稳定、风质合格,在灾变时期又能保持通风设备运行可靠、稳定,能快速实现风流控制的通风系统是至关重要的。

Please look at this figure. Figure 1 depicts the essential elements of a ventilation system in an underground mine or other subsurface facility. The fresh air enters the system through one or more downcast shafts and along intake airways to the working areas where the majority of pollutants are added to the air. The contaminated air passes back through the system along return airways. The return air eventually passes back to the surface through the upcast shafts.
