Unit3 第1课时教学设计
一、板块介绍
本板块的课文包括三段内容。前两段以第三人称的叙述方式,对比介绍了Mike和Yang Ling的日常饮食习惯,第三段则呈现了健康饮食金字塔和一个问题,引发学生思考。教师可要求学生根据健康饮食金字塔,分析Mike和Yang Ling的日常饮食习惯是否健康,同时反思自身的日常饮食习惯是否健康。 二、教学目标
1、能听懂、会说、会读、会写healthy, diet, a little, a few, at a time。 2、能听懂、会说、会读Story time中的故事。 三、教学重难点
1、句型:… eat/drink a lot of/a little/a few … … have some …
2、词汇:healthy, diet, a little, a few, at a time. 四、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up/Lead-in
教师和学生进行问答活动,要求他们说一说自己喜欢和不喜欢的食物,然后提出均衡饮食的问题,引发学生思考,导入本单元话题。教师可以呈现一些食物的图片,供学生选择回答。如: T: What’s your favourite food? S1: My favourite food is chocolate. T: What food do you like? S2: I like hamburgers and chips. T: What about you? S3: I like apples. S4: I like meat and fish. ...
T: What do you like drinking? S5: I like drinking juice. S6: I like drinking cola. ...
T: Can we eat a lot of hamburgers or chips? Can we eat a lot of cakes or ice cream? What food should we eat more? What food should we eat less? 2. 唱诵歌谣,导入词汇
教师和学生一起再读四年级上册Unit 6 (At the snack bar)的歌谣What would you like? 然后出示课前准备好的食物图片,和学生进行角色扮演的游戏,询问他们想吃的食物,复习词汇some。如:
T: Welcome to my restaurant/snack bar. What would you like? S1: I’d like some noodles and a glass of orange juice. S2: I’d like a hamburger and a glass of milk.
S3: I’d like some rice, some vegetables and some meat/fish. ...
3. 做游戏,归类词汇
教师可以利用课件,和学生一起玩“摘苹果”的游戏,复习有关食物和饮料的词 汇,并分组为可数名词和不可数名词。课件中呈现一棵苹果树,树上挂着许多苹 果,苹果上显示食物和饮料的词汇。树下放有两个篮子,分别标注可数名词和不可数名词。教师可以先要求学生朗读词汇,如cake,hamburger, bread, rice, egg, fish, meat, water, milk, ice cream, sandwich, vegetable, potato, tomato, juice等。学生在朗 读的同时将这些单词(苹果)放到相应的篮子里。 Step 2: Presentation & Practice Story time
1. 利用图片,教授目标词汇
教师利用课件呈现四组图片,通过比较的方法教授目标词汇a lot of, some, a little 和a few。教师可以先讲解它们在意思上的区别,然后再介绍它们如何与可数名词和不可数名词搭配。如:
第一组:a lot of eggs (一篮子蛋),some eggs (半篮子蛋),a few eggs (几个蛋) 第二组:a lot of apples (一篮子苹果),some apples (半篮子苹果),a few apples (几个苹果)
第三组:a lot of cola (一大瓶可乐),some cola (半瓶可乐),a little cola (小半瓶可乐)
第四组:a lot of rice (一大碗米饭),some rice (半碗米饭),a little rice (只能覆盖碗底的米饭)
2. 游戏活动,操练目标词汇
教师通过课件开展“连连看”的游戏,要求学生将a little和a few同若干食物(包括可数名词和不可数名词)和饮料图片匹配,然后说出相应的短语或一个完整的句子。
3. 问答活动,操练目标词汇
教师安排学生完成学生用书第34页Checkout time中的Ask and answer,要求他们两人一组,用there be句型结合some, any, a little, a few, a lot of进行问答活动。教师也可以要求学生独立完成描述图片的任务。如:
S: There are a lot of vegetables on the table. There are some green vegetables, a few potatoes and a few tomatoes. There’s a lot of/a big bottle of cola. There’s some meat. There’s a fish and a few eggs. There’s some rice and some juice too. 4. 问答活动,介绍日常三餐饮食
教师展示一张日常饮食表格,要求学生填入自己日常三餐的食物,然后用a lot of, some, a little, a few和句型 I have... for breakfast/lunch/dinner.作介绍。教师在学生完成表格后,安排他们小组活动,互相介绍自己的一日三餐食物。教师也可以要求学生在表达的时候灵活运用always, usually, often, sometimes等频率副词。如:
