1. I am going to a concert. 我要去一场演唱会。
短语: go to a concert 去听音乐会; give/ hold a concert 举行音乐会; at a concert 在音乐会上; an open-air concert 露天音乐会; 2.How exciting! 多么令人兴奋啊!
(1) how引导感叹句的基本构成为:how+形容词/副词+(主语+谓语)! 如:How clever the boy is! 这个男孩好聪明啊! (2) what引导感叹句的基本构成为:
what + a / an +形容词 +可数名词单数+(主语+谓语)! what +形容词+可数名词复数 +(主语+谓语)! what +形容词+不可数名词 +(主语+谓语)!
如:What a stupid question it is ! 这是一个多么愚蠢的问题啊!
What beatiful flowers ! 多么漂亮的花啊! 注意:感叹句中的主语和谓语可以省略。
一个单词或一个陈述句也可以表达感叹,但需加感叹号。Wonderful ! 3.What time is it going to start? 它几点开始? A. 这里的start表示“开始”,可用begin 代替; School starts / begins at 8:00 a.m.. 早上8点开始上课。
常用结构: start / begin to do sth. start / begin doing sth. 开始做某事; He started playing soccer at the age of ten. 他十岁就开始踢足球了。 B. 当 start 表示“动身,开办,流出”等意时,不可以用begin代替。 He started from Beijing for Hong Kong. 他离开北京去香港。 = He left Beijing for Hong Kong. 4. What a pity! 真是遗憾啊!
这是感叹句。 What + a + 感情色彩的名词! What a pity!= What a shame! What fun! 多么有趣啊!
5.I can lend you some CDs of her songs. 我可以借你一些她歌曲的CD片。 (1)lend sth. to sb. = lend sb. sth. 把某物借给某人; Can you lend your bike to me? 你能把你的自行车借给我吗? (2)lend反义词 borrow (借入);
borrow sth. from sb. / someplace从某人或某地那里借进某物;
I borrowed a lot of story books from Li Ming. 我从李明那里借来了很多故事书。 4. 乐器前要用 the, 如:play the piano; 球类前不用the; 如:play basketball 打篮球; play the piano 弹钢琴;
5. .Music lessons ( guitar, violin, piano and drum ) for only ¥100 each. 音乐课(吉他课、小提琴课、钢琴课、和打鼓课),每个课程仅需要100元。
A. each副词,表示 “各个”,“每个”。其后接单数可数名词,谓语动词用第三人称单数形式,此时可以与every互换。

1. What kind of music do you like? 你喜欢什么样的音乐? 2. It’s hard to say. 很难说。
It’s +形容词+(for sb.) + to do sth. (对某人来说,)做某事····;此句型中it 是形式主语,to do sth. 是真正的主语。
It’s too difficult for a little boy to carry a heavy box.对一个小男孩来说搬一个重箱子太难了。 2. I don’t like it at all. 我一点也不喜欢。 not..... at all 一点也不; 3. I like jazz best. 我最喜欢爵士乐。 A. like … best 最喜欢···· ;
Li Xiang likes jazz best.= Jazz is Li Xiang’s favorite. B. like..... better 更喜欢··· ; He likes Jazz better. 他更喜欢爵士乐。
4. I hate listening to rock music. 我讨厌听摇滚乐。 hate doing sth. = hate to do sth.
讨厌做某事;
I hate working on weekends. 我讨厌周末上班。 5. Pop music often comes and goes quickly. come and go 来去,来来往往;
money is something that comes and goes easily.钱这东西来得快去得也快。 6. They are very popular with young people. 他们很受年轻人的欢迎。
7. Song Zuying and Tenger are famous for their folk songs. 宋祖英和腾格尔都以唱民歌而出名。 A. be famous for 因······而闻名;
China is famous for the Great Wall. 中国因长城而闻名。 B. be famous as作······身份而出名;
Lu Xun is famous as a writer. 鲁迅作为作家而出名。 Section C

start / begin doing sth.= start / begin to do sth. 开始做某事; 3. When her lesson was over, he asked.当她课程结束时,他问。 (1)be over 结束; The school is over. 放学了。
(2)ask sb. to do sth. 要求某人去做某事;
4. Father Mozart decided to give his little boy music lessons. 父亲莫扎特决定给他的小孩子上音乐课。 decide to do sth. 决定做某事; I decided to buy the house. 我决定买那个房子。

as..... as..... 和······一样;,中间用形容词或副词的原级; Tom run as fast as Jack.汤姆跑得和杰克一样快。
6. He learned so quickly that his father was happy. 他学得如此之快以致于他父亲非常高兴。 A. so …that… 如此,以致于;后接形容词或副词,that 引导从句。
He was so angry that he couldn’t say anything. 他是如此的生气以致于什么也说不出来。 B. so that 以便于,为了·····;
I got up early, so that I could catch the bus. 我早起是为了赶公交车。
7. No one could believe that a little boy of five could write such beautiful music. 没有人相信五岁的孩子可以写出如此美妙的曲子。
(1) no one 没有人,谁也不;相当于nobody,当它作主语时,谓语动词用第三人称单数。 No one knows the answer to the questions. 没人直到这个问题的答案。 (2) such 这样的,类似的,修饰名词。
