Last week I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat. The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily(状语). They did not pay any attention. In the end, I could not bear it. I turned round again. 'I can't hear a word!' I said angrily. ‘It’s none of your business,' the young man said rudely. 'This is a private conversation!'.

这些名词均含“交谈”之意。

conversation： 一般用词， 指两个或更多人互相交换意见的交谈。

talk： 通用词， 可与conversation换用， 但当talk用作复数时指正式交谈。如six-party talks 六方会谈 / phone talks 电话会谈 / peace talks 和谈（和平谈判）。 dialogue： 指“对话”， 多指剧中的对白。

chat： 指熟人之间非常随便的交谈， 强调谈话的亲密和非正式性。
