III. 教材分析与教材重组

1. 教材分析

本单元的主题是Technology,中心话题为Hi-tech,话题本身具有强烈的时代

气息,贴近学生的实际生活,符合学生的认知水平,在学生中有较强的认同感。

1.1 WARMING UP 提供了三种智力小测试,借此诱发学生的想象力、判断

力、创造力和逆向思维能力,为下文作好铺垫。

1.2 LISTENING的第一部分是听三段描述日常用品的语言材料,旨在培养

学生捕获相关物品特征、用途等关键词的能力;第二部分是第一部分的延伸,进一步引导学生掌握描述物品特征的词汇和技巧,达到创造性运用语言的目的。

1.3 SPEAKING 部分根据材料要求,把全班分成四个小组,每一组从不同

角度出发讨论购买手机和不买手机的理由。既引导学生合作学习,又培养学生全面地、辩证地看待问题的哲学观和消费观。

1.4 PRE-READING是READING的热身活动。要求学生采用讨论交流的方

式谈论现代科技对人们日常生活的影响,激发他们对阅读主题文章的欲望。

1.5 READING一文采用前后呼应的写作手法,介绍手机的用途、所产生的

问题并剖析年轻人宠爱手机的原因。文章选材新颖,贴近现实生活,主题鲜明,容易引起学生的阅读兴趣和共鸣。

1.6 POST-READING从回答问题、概括段落大意和创造性设计三个层面逐

步推进,激励学生结合现实生活,开动脑筋,充分发挥想象力和创造力设计自己的产品,从而达到运用英语进行交际的能力。

1.7 LANGUAGE STUDY 的“词汇学习”目的在于培养学生根据语境掌握

并运用所学词汇的能力。“同步语法”则设计了不同类型的句型转换题,旨在训练学生准确理解和灵活运用现在进行时的被动语态的能力。

1.8 INTEGRATING SKILLS中的阅读部分是一篇科幻文章,大胆想象未来
