Unit 3 My school calendar

一、教学目标 1.语言知识目标:

(1)能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意。

(2)能够用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话,并能进行角色表演。 2.语言技能目标:

(1)能够在情境中运用句型When is the trip this year? It’s in October. We’ll go to the Great Wall.询问并回答有关各种节日、活动举行的月份。

(2)能够在语境中理解新词汇the Great Wall的意思,并能正确发音;能够运用句型I’ll …完成句型操练活动。 3.学习策略目标:

(1)能积极与他人合作学习。

(2)在此基础上逐渐养成自主学习和运用所学语言进行交际的能力。 4.情感态度目标:

(1)能让学生体会学习英语的乐趣和快乐。

(2)让学生感受父母对他们的爱,懂得感恩,让学生更加爱父母,热爱美好的生活。 二、学情分析

本节课的教学对象是小学五年级学生。他们活泼好动,纯真可爱,大部分学生对英语有着较浓厚的学习兴趣。他们喜欢上英语课,上课时能够专心听讲,能够积极主动的发言。同时喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、表演特别感兴趣。

经过两年多的英语学习,学生有一定的英语基础,良好的听、说、读、写英语的习惯已基本养成,并熟悉教师的课堂用语。但对于我们学校的学生来说,也出现了一些两极分化,所以要采取小组合作帮助学习有困难的同学来共同完成任务来学习。

这部分年龄段的儿童,有强烈的表现欲,不仅喜欢做游戏和参与活动表演,也喜欢向老师和其他同学展示自己优秀积极的一面。 三、重点难点 教学重点:

1.能够理解对话大意;能够用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话,并能进行角色表演。 2.能够在语境中理解新词汇the Great Wall的意思,并能正确发音。 3.能够运用句型I’ll …完成句型操练活动。 教学难点:

能够运用句型When is the trip this year? It’s in October. We’ll go to the Great Wall.询问并回答有关各种节日、活动举行的月份,并在能够在真实的情境中运用。 四、教学过程 Unit3 My school calendar B Let’s talk 教学活动 1.【导入】热身及复习 (1)教师与学生互相问候 ---Class begins.

---Good morning boys and girls. ---What’s the weather like today? ---What day is it today?

---OK, before we start our class, let’s look at the blackboard first.

(2)教师介绍本节课的评价方式:分小组竞赛。鼓励学生在本节课中积极表现,争做第一。 Today I’ll divide all of the students into three teams, this is team red, this is team blue and this is

team green. If you can answer my question correctly, your team will get a thumbs-up. And at the end of this class, if your team win the game,you can get a prize from me. Clear? OK,now let’s begin our class. First,let’s sing a song together.

(3)齐唱歌曲:The twelve months(设计意图:欢快的歌曲给学生营造一种轻松愉快的学习氛围,让他们尽快融入到快乐的课堂中,同时也复习关于月份的单词。) 2.【讲授】呈现并学习新内容

【活动一】讲授When is the trip this year?It’s in October.句型并进行练习

OK, boys and girls, do you know how many months are there in a year? Yes,very good. There are twelve months in a year.

And do you know how many seasons are there in a year?Yes,there are four seasons. What are they?They are spring,summer,autumn and winter! Which season do you like best?Why? Who likes autumn?Why?

教师向学生介绍我们将开启一次新的旅程。通过一棵没有色彩的树鼓励学生猜测季节,引出句型本节课重点句型 OK,boys and girls,now look at the tree. Can you guess what’s the season of this picture?Yes, it’s autumn.

Oliver and Chen jie also like autumn. Do you know why? Yes they will have a school trip in autumn.

So when is the trip this year? (教师提问:When is the trip this year?引导学生回答:It’s in October.)(板书When is the trip this year?并要求学生共同拼写 trip). Yes, it’s in October.(板书It’s in October.并要求学生共同拼写October)

带领学生读这两句话。 (教师呈现图片和歌曲,鼓励学生猜测节日和该节日所在的月份,引导学生运用句型:When is….It’s in…重在启发学生对句型When is….It’s in…的运用和理解,鼓励学生大胆表达个人猜测,并让学生做ask and answer)

It’s in… 【活动二】讲授课文中对话并进行练习 OK,boys and girls,let's look at the picture again,can you guess where Oliver and Chenjie will go for their school trip?(你们能猜一下Oliver 和 Chenjie将会去哪里吗?引出We’ll go to the Great Wall,并板书,领读)

and great right?(设计意图:目的是给学生创设半真实的情景,在这样的情景下呈现新的句型能让学生更容易理解和接受。)

教师呈现教材对话,学生跟读、朗读、作填空练习并分角色读(let’s role play the dialogue)。 (设计意图:回到书本上,并指导学生指读,帮助学生回顾这节课所学内容,不至于脱离课本。)

【活动三】讲授We'll go to the Great Wall句型并进行听力练习 先进行We'll go to the Great Wall的讲解

教师向学生展示他们自己在校的五彩学习、生活图片,进行一个听力练习。

告诉同学们下学期将进入毕业班,引导学生和小伙伴们为2019年设计一个自己理想中的校历,并派代表上台展示。

【活动四】讲授介词on/in/at的用法区别并进行练习

通过展示校历,教师提问: There is a special day for mother, What is it?引导学生回答:It’s Mother’s Day.

【活动五】拓展升华与作业

教师播放配有关于父母的卡通图片,让学生感受父母的爱,并懂得感恩。 同时布置本节课作业:

在母亲节来临之际,用心地为妈妈做一件事,并用英语记录下来,然后全班同学一起分享。 (设计意图:让学生感受父母对他们的爱,让学生更加爱父母,爱美好的生活。) 【活动六】对本节课学生的表现做出评价。
