Step 1 Warming-up
1). Playing a game about the month. The teacher asks about the month. The students who have the right month card will stand up as soon as possible.
2). Another game about the ordinal numbers. Every student prepares a card. When the teacher speaks out the ordinal number, the student write the abbreviation of the ordinal number on the card and stands up quickly.
Step 2 Pair work
1) Ask students about their birthday date.
Sample:When is your birthday?/My birthday is on October 11th. How old are you?/I am thirteen years old. 2) Show the pictures about the person and the birthday date on PPT to ask Ss to answer.
Sample: When is her birthday?/Her birthday is on December 20th. How old is she? She is fourteen years old. 3) Make conversations with partners.
