UCL Senate House Hub
UCL Senate House Hub opened in 2015and provides 144study spaces. What’s more, you can check how many spaces are available online before you head to the place. Located on the 3rd floor of the South Block of Senate House, the center has room for individual and group study in traditional library spaces, as well as armchairs and Wi-Fi coverage.
UCL Eastman Dental Library
The newly- redecorated UCL Eastman Dental Library is located halfway along Gray's Inn Road and is open from Monday to Friday, 9:00a. m. -8:00p. m. The library has 72study spaces, and many IT facilities (equipment with access to the Internet). The library also has a study room for meetings and a computer cluster room with a whiteboard.
UCL Language & Speech Science Library
UCL Language & Speech Science Library (LASS) has disabled access and has recently been decorated to add extra study spaces. With only 49spaces, LASS is smaller than most other UCL libraries and tends to fill up quickly, so get there early to avoid disappointment.
Senate House Library
This one may be cheating as the Senate House Library is not technically a UCL library. However, all UCL students and staff can register for free membership online. With millions of books and journals, Senate House Library offers some places a little less used by UCL students but perfect for students who want to focus on some hard work.

I was having a great morning until I sat down in front of my office computer. “Your password has run out,” a server message flashed on my screen, with instructions for changing it. Coming up with a new code doesn’t seem like a big deal unless you work at my company, where we have to change it monthly, using at least one

Suddenly I was cross. What didn’t make it any better was that I was deeply depressed after my recent divorce. The flashing cursor(光标) was still waiting for me to type a password that I’d have to re-enter many times for the next 30 days. I remembered a tip from my former boss: I’m going to use a password to change my life.
I decided to choose a password, which would remind me that I shouldn’t let myself be a victim of my recent breakup and that I was strong enough to do something about it. I made my password Forgive@h3r.
I had to type this statement several times a day. Each time my computer would lock. Each time my screen saver with her photo would appear. Each time I would come back from eating lunch alone. In my mind, I wrote “forgive her” every day.
The simple action changed the way I looked at my ex-wife. That constant reminder led me to accept the way things had happened at the end of my marriage and adopt a new way of dealing with my depression. To be popular is increasingly becoming the great desire among the young. The desire to be popular can force you into looking and acting like everyone else. You can lose yourself in a sea of identical hairstyles and thinking styles.
I was forced to think about popularity not too long ago in a talk I had with my daughter. Margy had to change schools when my busy work schedule made it necessary for me to move houses.
