Abstract
The author made a circuitry survey of the wild ornamental in south of Zhongshan Scenic
Area and collected 217 species of angiosperm samples belonging to 57 families,143 genus. The
abundant diversity of species in there due to its geographical position, change of altitude and
effect of historical factors. On one hand, there are more Nanjing local plants which could be
direct or indirect material for the development and utilize of garden plants than others in it; on
the other hand, the author advance some suggestion against the influence on these wild plants by
human activities in this Tourist Scenic Area.
